A Rain of very light intensity, composed of fine droplets of less than 0.5 mm diameter, which freeze on impact with the ground, objects on the earth’s surface, or aircraft in flight. The symbol for slight freezing drizzle on weather maps is , and for heavy freezing drizzle it is .
